Reach to Teach is funding the construction of an academy for tribal teachers. The first foundations were laid on 5th November 2008. The building is expected to be complete by summer 2009. The facility will provide accommodation for around 30 student teachers as well as lecture rooms and training facilities. WATCH THIS SPACE for photographs of the ceremony!!!!!

Reach to Teach has agreed to take on a school for children of migrant workers and has agreed to assume the costs of running this much-needed facility.

Hugh Lewis, 21, successfully completed the London marathon last Sunday in aid of Reach to Teach. Despite an injured knee, he completed in a time of four hours, two minutes. He has already rasied a great amount for Reach to Teach. You can still sponsor him if you'd like to by clicking here.
